WHAT IS THE TOMATIS METHOD?

It is a method of auditory re-education in which filtered and modified music is used to improve our listening abilities. Listening is a higher cognitive function that is reflected in correct motor and emotional management, linguistic management , fluid learning and good social adaptation. With the Tomatis Method, the ear is stimulated and by doing so, brain functions are optimized.

To hear we need our ears and auditory pathways to be healthy; But to listen we must perform several cognitive and emotional perceptual functions in order to integrate the information correctly and respond to the stimulus.
